The European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) held its 11th annual symposium in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, September 2004. The main theme of the symposium was functional imaging. Among several excellent presentations I had to choose only a few for this Feature Section. It was difficult. ESUR is very pleased that the Editor-in-Chief gave us the space in Abdominal Imaging to share the recent developments in urogenital radiology with the readers.
