Septic shock is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in critically ill children. Early mortality usually results from resistant hypotension with progressive acidosis refractory to fluid resuscitation and high-dose catecholamine administration. Findings have shown that vasopressin is helpful for patients with vasodilatory septic shock and poor response to catecholamines [1]. …
