Fetal cardiology represents one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving areas in the field of pediatric cardiology. During the next 10–20 years, we expect to see incremental advances in the prenatal detection, diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of fetal cardiovascular pathology, both structural and functional.
