Midline forehead flaps in nasal reconstruction

There are a variety of midline forehead flaps available, and how these are used is limited only by the ingenuity of the surgeon. An additional fact which is significant in terms of reconstruction and patient satisfaction is that midline donor site scars heal well. It is rare to have one of these spread or to become hypertrophic, regardless of the type of skin. These were initially popularized by Esser [1]. …
