Die Ausdehnung des postoperativ zu bestrahlenden Volumens bestimmt maßgeblich die erwartbare Toxizität bei Patienten mit Kopf-Hals-Tumoren und kleinere Volumina führen im Ergebnis zu einer langfristig verbesserten Lebensqualität. In der vorliegenden Phase-II-Studie wurden die Auswirkungen einer Reduktion des postoperativen Bestrahlungsvolumens auf die pathologisch befallene Halsseite (bei Auslassung der pathologisch tumorfreien Seite) analysiert [1]. …
