Konsolidierende Lokaltherapie beim oligometastasierten NSCLC ohne Progress nach Erstlinien-Chemotherapie

Retrospektive Analysen deuten darauf hin, dass die Krankheitsprogression nach Erstlinien-Chemotherapie beim metastasierten nicht-kleinzelligen Bronchialkarzinom (NSCLC) meist am Ort der ursprünglichen Metastasierung stattfindet [1]. In der vorliegenden Studie [2] sollte der Einfluss einer aggressiven lokalen Konsolidierungstherapie (Radiotherapie [RT], Radiochemotherapie [RCT] oder Operation [OP]) auf das progressionsfreie Überleben (PFS) bei Patienten mit oligometastasiertem NSCLC und gutem Ansprechen auf die Erstlinien-Chemotherapie untersucht werden. Gutes Therapieansprechen wurde als teilweise Remission (PR) oder als stabiler Befund (SD) nach Abschluss der Chemotherapie (ChT) definiert. Bezüglich dieser Fragestellung waren bislang trotz zahlreicher retrospektiver Analysen [3‐6] keine prospektiv kontrollierten Studien verfügbar. …
