Myocardial perfusion PET: A split function?

Positron emission tomography (PET) plays an important role in the assessment of myocardial blood flow (MBF). Absolute quantification of MBF is feasible using tracer kinetic models.1 The most common method for quantifying MBF involves the acquisition of dynamic images with the cyclotron-produced radiopharmaceuticals 13N-ammonia and 15O-water.
