Glycogen-rich clear cell adenocarcinoma of the stomach is a very rare entity. It is not listed as a histological type in the WHO blue book [
1]; however, the book mentions a clear cell variant in one figure. To date, a few reports of this entity have been published [
2,
3]. These reports included gastric adenocarcinoma with focal clear cell changes. However, its clinicopathological entity and biological behaviors are not known. In addition, to the best of the author's knowledge, gastric carcinoma composed only of glycogen-rich clear tubular adenocarcinoma has not been reported.
