Non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) are heterogeneous disorders with variable clinical presentations and potential for cure. Advances in combination chemotherapy have changed the course of aggressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Prolonged survival is now common, with some patients, especially those with limited disease or favorable prognostic factors, achieving cure. Relapse of disease is still an important problem, but late relapse is very rare [
