In women of the reproductive age group, the presentation of labial adhesion is extremely rare, especially with no clinically apparent hormonal irregularities, prior trauma, surgery, or any evidence of scarring dermatoses. Although labial adhesion-related complications are usually minor, severe adhesion may still result in recurrent infection, acute urinary retention, hydronephrosis, and sexual difficulties [1].
