Complications following the placement of a modified Blalock–Taussig shunt can present in an unusual fashion, making them difficult to diagnose. Delay in diagnosis can result in failure to provide appropriate therapy. Computed tomography can be a useful tool in assisting with diagnosis [1, 2, 3]. We report a case of shunt-associated endocarditis with pseudoaneurysm formation, in which CT allowed rapid diagnosis and lifesaving therapy. …
