To the Editor: Hospital acquired infection (HAI) is one important preventable threat to us and hand hygiene (HH) has been singled out as the most important measure to limit the deleterious consequences of HAI [1]. Presently, infection is a major cause of neonatal death in developing countries like India [2]. Resurgence of outbreak of HAI among neonates in our institution in recent past compelled us to start this observational cross-sectional study with objective to assess the knowledge and practices of doctors regarding HH. …
