To the Editor: Aicardi-Goutieres syndrome (AGS) is genetically determined encephalopathy [

The main features are progressive encephalopathy, failure to thrive, basal ganglia calcification, leukodystrophy, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) lymphocytosis, mimicking TORCH (Toxoplasmosis, Others, Rubella, Cytomegalovirus, Herpes) infections.
