Dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) are defined as abnormal arteriovenous shunts within the dura mater. Type I DAVFs, as described by Djidjian [
1] and classified by Borden [
2], represent a subgroup with antegrade venous drainage into a functional sinus, without reflux into cortical veins, and they are generally considered benign [
