Dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) are defined as abnormal arteriovenous shunts within the dura mater. Type I DAVFs, as described by Djidjian [1] and classified by Borden [2], represent a subgroup with antegrade venous drainage into a functional sinus, without reflux into cortical veins, and they are generally considered benign [3]. As a result, they are usually treated by observational and palliative management, which is often sufficient [4]. …
