2023 ESC Guidelines for the Management of Endocarditis

The official presentation of the international guideline for the diagnosis and management of patients with infective endocarditis. This updated guideline includes a new diagnostic algorithm and advice regarding antibiotic prophylaxis, identification of patients eligible for outpatient antibiotic therapy, diagnosis and risk-stratification of patients suffering complications of endocarditis, and management of patients with transcatheter heart valve- and cardiac implantable electronic device-associated infective endocarditis.
