Endobronchial carcinoid tumor in a child

A 15-year-old boy presented with coughing. A chest radiograph showed opacity in the medial right lower lung (Fig. 1, arrows). A CT scan demonstrated an enhancing endobronchial mass resulting in right lower lobe collapse (Fig. 2, arrow). The boy underwent surgical resection, and pathology confirmed a typical carcinoid tumor.
