We thank Zeng and his colleague for the comments on our article1 and suggesting that laparoscopic hepatectomy (LH) did not necessarily have superiority in R0 resection over open hepatectomy (OH) for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). However, based on the title of their response, Laparoscopic Hepatectomy has superiority in R0 resection over Open Hepatectomy for Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma? The evidence is unreliable,” it appears that they have not fully understood our meta-analysis especially the quality and source of the evidence. …
