Excerpt

Neuroendocrine tumor of the gall bladder (GB-NET) is an infrequent entity. GB-NET constitutes 0.2–0.5% of all neuroendocrine tumors and 2% of all gall bladder cancers [1]. There are no specific symptoms or signs for GB-NET and pre-operative differentiation from gall bladder adenocarcinoma is not possible. These tumors are often diagnosed at an advanced stage and have an aggressive behavior [2]. Long-term survivals have been reported in a few patients who are diagnosed at an early stage and successfully treated with multimodality management [3, 4]. In this report, we discuss our patient of GB-NET and our management experience. …

Keynote webinar | Spotlight on medication adherence

Live: Thursday 27th June 2024, 18:00-19:30 (CEST)

WHO estimates that half of all patients worldwide are non-adherent to their prescribed medication. The consequences of poor adherence can be catastrophic, on both the individual and population level.

Join our expert panel to discover why you need to understand the drivers of non-adherence in your patients, and how you can optimize medication adherence in your clinics to drastically improve patient outcomes.
