Trauma resuscitation of severely injured patients involves complex interactions between individual and collective action and decision-making on one side and, trauma bay environment, setting, and equipment and multidisciplinary teamwork, and organizational culture on the other. Worldwide, composition of the trauma team is highly versatile, with a prevalent representation of general surgery in North America, and a more balanced representation of anesthesia and surgery in Europe. The complexity of the trauma process leads frequently to adverse events (AE), in particular in the early phase of trauma resuscitation. An estimated of 6.09 AE occurs per fatal trauma and 3.47 AEs can be directly attributed to the patient death [
