As part of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology’s (ASNC) Excellence in Imaging Program, the Board of Directors approved the formation of a Research Committee in March of this year. The primary mission of the ASNC Research Committee is to identify current research gaps through collaborative discussions among thought leaders who are interested in the advancement of the field of nuclear cardiology and its complementary anatomic imaging modalities. After more than three decades, the field of nuclear cardiology has considerably matured as a result of the efforts of many ASNC leaders and often in collaboration with our industry partners. …
