A 10-month-old male child, second in birth order, born to second-degree consanguineous parents, presented to our institution with fever for 3 days with fast breathing for 1 day. Past history was significant for recurrent lower respiratory tract infections and diarrhoea since 5 months of age. Polyhydramnios was observed in the antenatal scans and he was delivered by normal vaginal delivery at term.
