A large craniopharyngioma in a 12-year-old boy is displacing the optic nerves and chiasm superiorly. The optic chiasm is seen indenting the floor of the third ventricle. The image has been produced by segmenting the relevant structures on a T1w sagittal MR volumetric sequence and reconstructing the resulting outlines in 3D. Surface rendering and sideways illumination add to the visual effect. …
