Intradural spinal cord tumors are an infrequent but an important consideration in the differential diagnosis of patients suffering from back pain, radicular pain, sensorimotor deficits, or sphincter dysfunction [1]. Spinal lipomas are histologically benign tumors of the spinal cord accounting for less than 1 % of all spinal cord tumors that uncommonly require surgery.
