Plagiocephaly is characterized by the development of an abnormal head shape secondary to external pressure and is generally a benign condition treated conservatively [
1,
2]. Craniosynostosis on the other hand results from premature fusion of the cranial vault sutures and often requires surgical correction due to signs of raised intracranial pressure and severe deformity [
3]. Differentiating these conditions is critical given the differences in natural history and subsequent management of many children with these conditions. We report on the first published case of an infant with clinical and radiological plagiocephaly who subsequently developed delayed sagittal craniosynostosis and briefly review the literature regarding these conditions. …
