As you know, the impact factor is an objective method for assessing the importance of a journal. Lists of current impact factors appear at regular intervals, about half way through the year. We have got good news for all authors who published in our journal last year and wish to do so in the future: the 2012 Impact Factor for the journal has just been released (Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports® 2012) and is 1.379.
