The role of imaging in urology varies from country to country. In some countries, imaging, even conventional x-ray or fluoroscopy imaging, is routine work in the day to day practice. In other countries, on the other hand, all imaging is done by the radiologist. However, and not only due to the need of frequent use of ultrasound, it seems quite natural that the urologist should utilize imaging modalities in order to evaluate the urologic organs. …
