Sirs: Acute aortic dissection following coronary balloon dilatation or stent implantation is described as a rare complication [5]. We present a case of a 73 year female patient revealing an acute Type A dissection with entry at the right coronary ostium after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). This iatrogenic aortic dissection needed surgical treatment with supracoronary replacement of the ascending aorta and hemiarch replacement. …
