Sir: We would like to report three cases of tracheal ring fracture and prolapse during percutaneous dilational tracheostomy (PDT) using the PercuTwist kit (Rusch, Kernen, Germany). The original study reported this technique to be a quick and safe dilation procedure without any serious bleeding complications or other relevant procedure-related adverse consequences [
