Intramuscular haemangioma involving buccinators muscle is rare benign neoplasm representing almost not more than 1% of neoplasm and approximately 15% of all haemangioma occurring in head and neck region [1]. Most common sites for intramuscular haemangioma on face are the periorbital muscle, medial pterygoid, temporalis muscle, geniohyoid and sternocleidomastoid rarely involving buccinators muscle [2]. The involvement of tongue, extraocular muscle and posterior neck muscles, though occurs less frequently, has been reported [3].The buccinator muscle, though rarely involved, present as soft, spongy, compressible facial swelling over the cheek without any odontogenic cause. On palpation it is soft, spongy and compressible without bruits and thrill [4]. The current paper presents the clinical, radiographic features and intraoral surgical excision of a large haemangioma involving buccinators muscle pierced by parotid duct under general anaesthesia. …
