We read with interest the recent article by Drs. Jeffrey D. Spiro and Ronald H. Spiro [1]. We present our experience employing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the preoperative assessment of the patients with parotid gland cancer. Our observations were presented in the past at the 38th Congress of Polish Otorhinolaryngologists–Head and Neck Surgeons Society in 1998 and at the European Congress of Radiology in Vienna in 2001 [2, 3, 4]. …
