Allergic diseases are characterized by tissue eosinophilic and basophilic inflammation. Both epithelial-derived thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) and eosinophil/basophil (Eo/B) lineage-committed progenitor cells are upregulated and found at sites of allergic inflammation [
