We share the enthusiasm expressed by Marriner [
1] for greater consistency in echocardiography data, as it is a commonly-requested examination in all tertiary healthcare facilities and thus, essential for high quality care. A large source of the difficulty is the variability of data acquisition, especially by less experienced operators, whether sonographers or cardiologists [
