Sir: Staphylococcus aureus (SA) bacteremias are associated with an increased morbidity and mortality in patients admitted to the ICU. As we report, the possibility of a parasitic co-infection should be considered in the case of a persistent SA bacteremia secondary to a liver abscess. …
