Cipra US recalls six lots of Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Aerosol

The US FDA has published a company announcement from Cipla announcing that Cipra US is voluntarily recalling six batches of salbutamol (albuterol) inhalers (Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Aerosol 90 mcg; 200 Metered Inhalation) because there is a reasonable probability of failure to deliver the recommended dose to treat acute asthma exacerbations due to device defect. However, to date, there have been no reports of adverse events related to this recall. …
