Certainly, anytime a book is published that is specific to a pediatric topic, it is time to celebrate. Pediatric Hypertension, edited by Drs. Portman, Sorof, and Ingelfinger, gives one a good reason to break out the single barrel bourbon and take a sip. Not that I want our readers to think that my idea of an exciting evening is to curl up next to the fireplace with a textbook on pediatric hypertension, but this is an exceptionally comprehensive and well-written text. …
