Organ of Zuckerkandl lesions are generally rare, and may present either as functional (pheochromocytoma) or non-functioning tumour (paraganglioma). Functional (secreting) tumours are located usually in the areas where chromaffin tissue is found; e.g., along the para-aortic sympathetic chain, organ of Zuckerkandl, urinary bladder, and the sympathetic chain in the neck or mediastinum [1]. To our knowledge, we are reporting for the first time the robot-assisted laparoscopic excision of functioning organ of Zuckerkandl. …
