Answers

Test myoglobinuria and then investigate the cause of rhabdomyolysis such as carnitine palmitoyltransferase II in leukocytes.

Treatment of acute kidney injury according to severity. Both patients were treated with hemodialysis and supportive care. The patients are advised to avoid vigorous exercise. A diet rich in carbohydrates and medium-chain fatty acids and carnitine treatment should be encouraged.
