We agree fully with Drs. Miserez, Totte, and Navez that laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair is not a bad operation, but a difficult technique to learn. We are further analyzing our data to try to ascertain the subtleties associated with success in the laparoscopic group in order to teach this technique more efficiently and effectively. …
