We thank the authors for their interest in our paper [1]. The authors have raised two issues. Firstly, they suggest that there were mistakes in Table 2 for ten of the 15 guideline recommendations on acupuncture. We have rechecked the guidelines, and we confirm a few errors in Table 2 of our paper. These transcription errors were introduced when we reformatted the table from an earlier version. We checked the information provided in the table, and the corrected version of the Table 2 is displayed below. Of note, the recommendations on acupuncture cited in the text contain no errors and the summary conclusion remains the same, namely inconsistent endorsement of acupuncture across the clinical practice guidelines [1].
