Dear Sir, In answer to your letter and the one of Marchese-Ragona, we briefly reply, as you requested. R. Marchese-Ragona et al. argue that 100 U Botox is a high dose for injection in the cricopharyngeal muscle, with the risk of diffusion in the posterior laryngeal muscles and dyspnea as a consequence. They advocate an EMG-guided percutaneous injection that permits the use of lower doses. …
