Reflecting on the Importance of Webinars in Cancer Education

During the spring of 2015, the American Association for Cancer Education (AACE) successfully launched three exciting new webinars. Each webinar included a telephone and Web interface to provide a PowerPoint with audio presentation and a live chat. With the advance of technology, these webinars offered an opportunity to connect interested people across time zones and occupations to share knowledge and understandings. The driving force at the heart of the American Association for Cancer Education (AACE) are the core values to innovate, communicate, respect, mentor, and collaborate. The annual meeting has exemplified this vibrant exchange of information, and the webinars served as an opportunity to extend learning throughout the year. …
