Abstract
We present a rare case of recurrent well-differentiated liposarcoma, which re-occurred 26 years after initial presentation, having presented non-acutely on both occasions with dyspnoea, progressive dysphonia and intermittent stridor due to a valve-like laryngeal obstruction happening mainly when supine. We have discussed management of these recurrent well-differentiated liposarcomas of the larynx including the adequacy of local versus radical treatment with review of literature which reveals that only nine cases have been reported so far.
