Acute transient left ventricular systolic dysfunction is a not infrequent finding among critically ill individuals [

2]. While acute myocardial infarction or ischemia remain the most common causes, ICU patients may also experience transient left ventricular dysfunction due to subarachnoid hemorrhage, respiratory failure, sepsis, or pancreatitis [
