Chemical submission (CS) is the administration of a psychoactive substance (PAS) without the victim’s knowledge or under threat for criminal or delinquent purposes. It is distinct from chemical vulnerability (CV), which refers to the state of a person’s fragility induced by the voluntary consumption of a substance that has made him or her more vulnerable to an assault (Chaouachi, 2022c). These two categories are grouped under the more general term of drug-facilitated assault (DFA), which includes any crime or offense committed on a victim under the influence of a PAS. …
