This series of articles represents the content of a Pediatric Radiology Categorical Course held during the European Congress of Radiology 2004. The most distinguished European experts in the field of pediatric radiology discuss current state-of-the-art imaging strategies of important pediatric diseases of the chest, abdomen, urogenital tract, and musculoskeletal system. One article covers the continuum of tumors and tumor-like lesions of the neck from childhood to adulthood. Imaging strategies have changed significantly over the last few years and this article series presents the latest advances in knowledge and the corresponding changes in imaging management.
