Over the last two years, Annals of Vascular Surgery has undergone substantial change. One-half of our Board of Directors and Editorial Board Members have passed their responsibilities to a new generation of vascular surgeons. The Worldwide Web publishing program (“Online First”), which results in earlier credit for publication of a paper, was implemented. This was followed by the initiation of Manuscript Central for electronic submission and evaluation of manuscripts. …
