In this well-written review, Professor Atiyeh reports an extensive review of all the current nonsurgical treatment methods for hypertrophic scars. As such, it is an important report for aesthetically active plastic surgeons. As pointed out, aesthetic surgical techniques have become more and more standardized with better and more predictable results.
