We read with interest the review concerning acute biliary pancreatitis, endoscopy, and laparoscopy by Borie et al. [
1], which offers excellent information and provides the results of the most important related studies. We absolutely agree with their conclusions. Nevertheless, we consider it important to comment on a subject that it failed to address: the noninvasive imaging of the common bile duct, which could be indicated in some clinical settings. …
