The study by Akil et al. presented in the present issue of the Journal of Nuclear Cardiology
1 provides definite evidence that the initial presence of an abnormal flow reserve in a coronary territory constitutes a prerequisite for the further improvement of this flow reserve after myocardial revascularization.
