Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging provides superb bone and soft tissue details and plays a central role in the assessment and management of a wide variety of pediatric musculoskeletal disorders. Presently, intermediate (1 to 1.5 T) field strength magnets are the predominant MR scanners in clinical practice. In the past few years, however, there has been increasing availability and use of 3 T MR scanners for clinical applications. …
